Drawing of a swan…
Still working on the left wing, but coming along quite nicely…
More information will follow soon, in the meantime read all about this project on this post
The miniatures from the project WHITE BOY, are inspired by my 90,000 word novel which is set in Ireland, and tells the story of two teenagers, one living in 1803 and one in 1977. With their lives intertwined with each other’s but also with the raging political conflict of the 1970’s they try to make sense of what is happening around them. Even though Florian Brackfar and Ellis Sabel could never have met, they have come to know each other’s thoughts and feelings intimately.
The miniatures from the project THE WHITE BOY, are inspired by my 90,000 word novel which is set in Ireland, and tells the story of two teenagers, one living in 1803 and one in 1977. Their lives are intertwined with the political conflict that festers a country stifled for so very long. Even though Florian Brackfar and Ellis Sabel could never have met, they have come to know each other’s thought and feelings intimately.
This is a project based on art and literature, the words of the novel and the colours of the paintings, it’s a journey of life, a Bildungsroman in which Florian and Ellis are the protagonists and they invite you on their journey: one day in Florians life and five months in Ellis’s.
The miniatures are now for sale, framed in a wooden frame or packaged in a beautiful designed box. Along with each framed miniature you will receive a raw signed copy of the manuscript.
Framed miniature and book: 100 euros excluding postage and packing
Boxed miniature: 75 euros excluding postage and packing
